1. Go to www.facebook.com or open your Facebook mobile app to login your Facebook account profile.
2. On the home page of your Facebook account profile is a search box on the top-right corner with the word “Search” inscribed inside of the search box. (This is for computer system)

3. Click inside of the search box and type the name of your friend, family member and just anything you want to search for on Facebook.
4. Once you have entered the names, click the search icon at the close right of the search box field to find the person.
Using your Facebook Mobile App for Facebook Search Friends By Name
If you are using your Facebook mobile app, when you have logged in your account, you will see different icons at the top of the home page.
1. Click on the “Search” icon – This is one of the icons on top of the home page, close to the three horizontal lines (menu icon).
2. This will bring out the search box for you.
3. Tap on the search box field and type in the name of the person you are looking for. When you are done typing in the name, tap the search icon at the close right of the search box field to find the person.
Now look through the list of the search results to see and identify the particular person you are looking for. Look closely to the profile photos to identify the person and then tap on it to view more option.
