It also has a 5 atm water resistance rating, compared to the IP68 water resistance rating for the older Gear Fit 2, meaning it should be even more robust for proper sports use, especially swimming. A nice, slim wearable for those looking for a fitness-focused device without all the fancy extras that you might not ever use.
