Visa Application Form;

10 things to know before you get a Singapore tourist visa online:

1. Download the Singapore tourist visa form online and complete it with information and signature.

2. Ensure that your passport is within a validity of 6 months from the date of arrival in Singapore.

3. A confirmed return air ticket with the tour itinerary is necessary.

4. A covering letter from the applicant mentioning the reason of travel and dates of travel, addressed to ‘The Embassy of Singapore /The Consulate General of Singapore’.

5. A leave letter from the applicant’s company on the company letterhead.

6. Please ensure that all the documents are in English. If not, then official translations of the documents should also be attached.

7. If the applicant is residing on any other address than mentioned on the passport, then the residential proof copy should also be attached. Two government authorized address proofs with the same address need to be attached.

8. If you are a first time traveler to Singapore, then there is a need to attach income tax papers of last 3 years along with bank statements of last 3 months.

9. It will be good to attach the confirmed bookings of your hotel in Singapore, although it is not a mandate.

10. Moreover, the consulate has the right to ask for additional documents as deemed necessary.

Processing Time

The processing of the Singapore visa application will commence on the date when ALL documents are received in order and not when the incomplete application is first received. The normal processing time for application for visas by Level 2 countries is at least 5 working days excluding the day of submission and the week-ends.

For Level 1 countries, the processing time is at least 3 working days, excluding the day of submission and the weekends. The authorised visa agents will liaise with the Singapore Embassy for the collection of the visa for the applicant. For the list of Level 1 and Level 2 countries, visit the website of the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority of Singapore at www.ica.gov.sg.

Documents Required For Singapore Social Visit (Visiting Friends, Relatives & For Tourism)

1. Completed Form 14A (original), to download the form (Click Here).

2. One recent passport-sized and colored photo with white background (to be pasted on the top right-hand corner of Form 14A) which meets the following requirements:

Image must be taken within the last 3 months.
Image must show the full face and without headgear (headgear worn in accordance with religious or racial customs is acceptable but must not hide the facial features).

3. Photocopy of the applicant’s passport biodata page. Please ensure that the passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry.

4. Completed Form V39A (Letter of Introduction for Visa Application) ),to download the form (Click Here).

Other Requirements;

The applicant and the local contact may be required to furnish additional documents and information whenever necessary.
Official translations of the documents are required if they are not in the English language.
Possession of a visa does not guarantee entry into Singapore. Visitors must also meet entry requirements such as holding a valid passport, sufficient funds for the period of stay in Singapore and confirmed onward/return air ticket.
