It doesn’t try to be a smartwatch; it’s a simple activity tracker but comes with a host of features, including a ultra-detailed super AMOLED display. It boasts a continuous heart rate monitor, along with a pedometer, an exercise tracker and a stopwatch and timer. It also has a 5 atm water resistance rating, compared to the IP68 water resistance rating for the older Gear Fit 2, meaning it should be even more robust for proper sports use, especially swimming. A nice, slim wearable for those looking for a fitness-focused device without all the fancy extras that you might not ever use.
