Almost there: For older iOS software, you’ll see an extra box called Domain. Fill out everything as correctly as possible. And instead of not filling it correctly, just put m.google.com, which indicates a mobile account, of course. There are bunch of sliders you swipe to the “ON” position then tap “Save.” For iOS 9, “Domain” is optional and only Username and Server is required (for the latter, enter m.google.com).

Wait, only few contacts showed up?: In case all your contacts do not show up as it happened in my case, simply go out of  the Settings and go to your Contacts. Tap Groups on the upper left and then either click the refresh arrow for older versions of iOS 5, which also will be on the upper left or just swipe the screen downward for newer systems with iOS 9, and this will refresh the contact list and you will find all your contacts sowing in your iPhone contact list.
