How to get Facebook Marketplace

When shipping an item on the Facebook marketplace, you can list the item and also have the option to offer shipping by creating a new list with the usual information and select offer shipping once your customer receives their item you will be paid.

You can also be able to live broadcast the items you are selling through a video on Facebook, you will be able to answer any question the buyers have about the products while you’re live streaming but it’s not yet available.

How to get Marketplace on Facebook

For Buyers:

• Go to www.facebook.com and login into your Facebook account.
• Click on the Marketplace option located on the left side below the profile.
• A list of selling items will appear, select the item you would love to buy.
• If you want to purchase the item from the seller, you will have to send a direct message to the seller that you are interested in.
• The seller will work out the details and your item will be delivered on the delivery date.

For Sellers:

• Log in to the Facebook profile and tap on the Marketplace icon.
• Upload the photo of the product you are selling clearly.
• Add the title of the item in the What You Are Selling section.
• Type in the description of the product below the Describe Your Item section.
• Add the price of the item and add the location and the category of the item, then click on Post.

The Facebook marketplace has no separate app you can use the platform on the Facebook app and also the Facebook website at www.facebook.com.  It creates a marketplace profile once you have listed your first item.

Once you sell a product in the Facebook marketplace it will automatically be shown as a component of your store.

How to get Facebook Marketplace Notifications

To turn your Marketplace notification on for the new Facebook and classic Facebook, you will have to follow these steps below:

New Facebook:

• From your news feed, click in the top right.
• Click Settings from the drop-down menu.
• Click Notifications.
• Click On Facebook.
• Click Marketplace, then click Edit.
• Click On next to a notification type.

Classic Facebook

• From your News Feed, click in the top right.
• Click Settings from the menu shown.
• Click notifications.
• Click on Facebook.
• Click Marketplace, then click Edit.
• Click On next to a notification type.

With these steps, you will be able to turn On Facebook notifications both on the new Facebook and the classic Facebook.
