How to Delete Facebook Story – Facebook stories are a great way to share short clips of your fun adventures with your friends. While the concept of “stories” first started on Instagram, they’re used on Facebook in a similar fashion. Create a story on Facebook by sharing still images or videos that are a few seconds long, and the content will be available to your selected audience for 24 hours.

Note: Facebook Stories are available for only 24 hours, but after that, they can be saved in your Story Archive. Only you can see your Story Archive.

However, there may be times you want to remove a current or archived Facebook Story. Here’s how to delete a Facebook story, whether you’re in the iOS or Android Facebook mobile app or desktop version of Facebook.

How to Delete Facebook Story Element

Whether your Facebook Story has one or multiple images or videos, it’s easy to delete content. (These instructions apply to the Facebook mobile app and Facebook on the desktop.)

1. Select your Facebook Story at the top of your newsfeed.

2. Select the three dot icon at the top right corner of the story.

3. Select Delete Photo or Delete Video, and then select Delete again to confirm.

4. Repeat this process to delete more photos or videos from your story, if necessary. Once you’ve completed this action, the deleted content is permanently removed.

Tip: If you see someone else’s story that you don’t want to see, you can mute their story so it doesn’t show up in your Stories section.
