Facebook dating platform : Since Facebook Dating’s launch on Sept. 5, users have been able to opt into crafting a whole new kind of dating profile. By integrating a social media platform that already contains so much about you into the Facebook Dating feature, your interests, groups, events, and daily happenings can be synced to your Dating profile. And one especially cool feature in the dating platform is that you can add your Facebook and Instagram Stories to your Facebook Dating profile.

The matchmaking service of the social network will be released in 32 countries with the blessing of the Irish Data Protection Commissioner, who planned the rollout of the kibosh in February, announcing that it had only been told a few days in advance.

Facebook has made changes to gain acceptance, including the explicit marking of Dating as a Facebook domain, as well as a sign-up process that allows quick deletion of a dating profile.

Users can now connect their profiles to Facebook Dating in Spain , France, Germany , the UK and other nations and begin swiping through singles in their region.

Based on their geographic proximity as well as interests such as height and age, Facebook Dating offers possible matches. In order to see if they and their matches have similar interests, users have the option to give the dating app access to public Facebook events they have marked themselves as “attending.”

A “Hidden Crush” feature allows users to designate “crushes” as a handful of their Facebook mates. If both mates list each other, they will be notified by Facebook Dating and start a conversation.

Thursday afternoon, Match Group shares, which owns famous dating apps Tinder and Hinge, were down 1.2 percent.
