You have to change password when you are logged in and also when you are not logged in to your account. On the Facebook website, www.facebook.com, you can change your password with the New Facebook Mode or with the Classic Facebook Mode. Follow the below steps to change your password;

Change Facebook Password on Phone

How do I change my Facebook password on my mobile phone with the Facebook app? You will be needing your Facebook account details, which is your Email address or mobile phone number.

1. Open the Facebook app.
2. Then tap on the menu option at the top right corner of the page.
3. Scroll down and click on Settings & Privacy.
4. Then tap on Settings.
5. Under Security, Click on Security and Login.
6. Below Login, Click on Change password.
7. Then enter your current password, your new password, and re-type your new password to confirm it.
8. Now click on the Save Changes button.

If you want to Change password, and you are logged in, follow the same steps above, under the Cancel button, click on Forget Password. Then follow the onscreen prompt instruction to reset your Facebook forgotten password. Make sure you know the Email address or phone number linked to your Facebook account.

Change My Facebook Password on Computer?

2. Then enter your Current password, your new password, re-type in your new password to confirm it.
3. Then click on the Save Changes button.
