How to Stop Videos From Automatically Playing on Facebook
Change your video autoplay settings on Facebook from a browser on any computer.
N|B: Turning off Facebook Autoplay in a web browser will not affect the settings in the Facebook mobile app.
1. Log in to your Facebook account.
2. Select the down arrow in the upper-right corner, then select Settings.
3. Select Videos at the bottom of the left pane.
4. Select the drop-down menu to the right of Auto-Play Videos, then select Off.
How to Turn off Autoplay on the Facebook App for Android
If you want to disable Facebook video autoplay on your Android device, you must do so from within the app. (See images below for iPhone; the process is fairly identical on all smartphones)

How to Turn off Autoplay on the Facebook Lite App
If you’re using Facebook Lite, you can change the settings so videos don’t autoplay when you’re using mobile data.
